One thing I was nervous about was how I would react to someone else discussing my character traits and how to improve them. But Rocky is incredibly understanding and non-judgemental so there is no better environment in which to prove your sense of self. More than anything else, I think I received an internal burst of passion and creativity for my own life. Whereas before I felt like whatever I wanted to achieve was either too hard, too much or I would have too many oppositions, Rocky gave me the tools to believe that not only was I capable, but that if I put in the effort, those things would come to me in its own form. In a comfortable and friendly way, Rocky managed to make me feel appreciative, grateful and optimistic about the control I have on my own life, and she did it in a way that made me think I was coming up with the answers myself. That’s my take on it anyway and it comes from our time together over the 6 week period, of my coaching. Each of us is an individual and I knew that Rocky was tailoring everything to my individual experiences, and needs. She allowed me the scope to head down whatever road I wanted, and some of those were “out there“; but she was also determined to keep me on track, and helped me to a worthwhile and rewarding outcome.
