Make your Own Mandala Workshop
With Lori Banks
What is a Mandala?
A mandala is a sacred space, often a circle, which reveals some inner truth about you or the world around you. In Sanskrit mandala means both circle and center, implying that it represents both the visible world outside of us (the circle- whole world) and the invisible one deep inside our minds and bodies (the center- healing circle)
`From Native American and Tibetan sandpaintings to Gothic rose windows and Hindu yantras, mandalas are used as symbols for meditation, protection and healing`

About Lori
Following completion of her degrees in Graphic Design Lori has had over 10 years experience as a freelance illustrator, working on magazine, fashion illustration and newspaper editorial work, She has also worked in advertising specialising in poster and brochure illustration design.
She has been a fine artist for the last 20 years exhibiting drawings and paintings in various galleries throughout Melbourne and further afield. She also writes poetry and incorporates this with the vibrational energy of the colours in some of her paintings.
Her channelled spiritual art became integrated into her artwork after years working with the power of love and forgiveness, allowing here to create her visions from a space of divinity and joy. She creates beautiful Goddesses, Fairies, Mandalas, Soul and Guide Portraits.
She creates intensely coloured, detailed pieces with healing energy that are channelled through the highest frequency. They are full of light, angelic, powerful and very sensitive.
